What TabRover stores, why it is needed, and how to request access or deletion.

Information you provide
When you sign in with Google, TabRover receives and stores the verified Google account identifier, name, and email address needed to authenticate you. The service also stores the content you choose to save, including boards, columns, groups, links, descriptions, and settings. TabRover does not receive your Google password.
Local browser copy and synchronization
The Chrome extension keeps a local copy of your TabRover workspace in the current browser. This lets saved links remain available during a temporary connection or server failure. When you are signed in, TabRover uses the server to synchronize supported workspace data between devices.
Browser permissions and favicons
The extension reads Chrome bookmarks only when you use the bookmark-import feature. Imported entries become part of your local workspace and may be synchronized when you are signed in. To display site icons, TabRover may send only a saved link's hostname (for example, example.com) to configured favicon providers such as Google, DuckDuckGo, icon.horse, or GitHub; path, query, and fragment data are not included in those provider requests.
Technical information
The service may process basic technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, request time, and error details. This information is used to deliver pages, keep accounts secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.
Public TabRover pages and the web version use Yandex.Metrika to measure visits, page views, browser/device characteristics, and interactions with product links. Yandex may process this information under its own privacy policy. You can restrict analytics in your browser settings or with privacy tools.
How information is used
- Provide the website, web version, extension, account, and synchronization features.
- Protect accounts and investigate errors or abuse.
- Respond to support, access, correction, and deletion requests.
- Improve reliability and understand which product features need attention.
Sharing
TabRover may use service providers to operate hosting, authentication, email, monitoring, or support. Information may also be disclosed when required by law. TabRover does not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
Account and workspace data is retained while the account is active or while it is needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. You may request deletion by emailing support@tabrover.com.
Security
TabRover uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No internet service can promise absolute security, so keep account credentials private and report unexpected activity.
Children
TabRover is not intended for children under 13, and the service does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
Material updates will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use after an update is governed by the current published policy.
